XLRI PGDM(GM) to Host FULCRUM, on the theme “Decoding the Future of Consulting”.

Jamshedpur। XLRI PGDM(GM) batch of 2022-23 brings forth one of its kind – FULCRUM – to be held on 19th November and 20th November 2022. FULCRUM is going to be a physical event (19 November 2022) and a virtual event (20 November 2022) and the theme for the conclave is “Decoding the Future of Consulting”.
The event will be facilitated by Professor Rajeev Roy, Professor Apalak Khatua, Professor Munish Thakur, and XLRI PGDM (GM) Kautilya Consulting Club.

FULCRUM The Consulting Conclave serves as a forum for stimulating discussions on new upcoming age issues. The event brings together Strategists, Consulting Evangelists, Thought Leaders, Entrepreneurs, and Professionals who are pioneering change to evaluate real-world business dilemmas, reflect on their social impact, and spark significant conversations. Inquisitive minds will have the opportunity to meet with and be inspired by these consulting industry luminaries at the conclave.
Decoding the future of consulting: The world is moving at a faster pace than ever and so are the changings in the business landscape. Global leaders are striving to transform and reinforce businesses to accommodate the demand of the world. The changes ahead are perceived to be more profound and long-lasting, opening the scope for a plethora of innovative solutions and it is imperative for the consulting cohort to shift gears. Thought leadership and a weather eye are going to be the need of the hour and will determine who takes the bigger piece of the pie.
The First day of the Conclave starts with the lighting of the lamp ceremony and the Inaugural address by Director Fr. S George, S J, followed by an address by Professor Dr. Sanjay Patro, Dean Academics, XLRI Jamshedpur.
Next, we will have our speaker address on “Future of Consulting” which will be discussed by Mr. Ganesan Ramachandran, – Managing Director, Tech Strategy and Advisory, Accenture. The next speaker address will be on “Decoding synergy and unlock talent potential in M&A” by Mr. Prakhar Tripathi, Partner, Consulting, Deloitte India. Mr. Abhishek Trigunait, Chief Product & Technology Officer Principal, ZS Associates will be addressing on “Navigating the new frontiers of Consulting”. This will be followed by an address from Mr. Arjun Vaidyanathan, Chief Operating Officer, KPMG in India on “Decoding the Future of Consulting”. A fireside chat with Mr. Anurag Malik, Partner & National Leader – Workforce Advisory, EY on “Shaping successful business transformations with Humans at the Center” is the next agenda of the event followed by an address on “Essential New Age Skills for Consulting Leaders” from Mr. Sridhar Sampathirao, Director and Founding Member, Thoucentric.
Day 2 of the event starts address on “What should consultants learn to do in a rapidly changing world” from our Chief Guest for the day Mr. Arun Maira, Chairman HelpAge International, Former member, Planning commission of India, and Former Chairman, Boston Consulting Group, India. The next address would be from Mr. Nithin Chandra, Managing Partner- South East Asia, Kearney Singapore. Nitin would be addressing on “Evolution of Business Consulting – past, present, future”.
This will be followed by the first panel discussion of Day 2 on “Sustainability: The neoteric playground for next-generation consulting leaders” discussed by Mr. Praveen Pajiar, Managing Director and partner, Alvarez and Marshal, Mr. Kartik Nagarajan, Managing Director – Business consulting & Global Business Services (Sales), Nexdigm, Mr. V Ramkumar, Senior Partner, Cedar Management Consulting, Mr. Gaurav Gupta, Partner & Asia Regional Director, Singapore, Dalberg and this will be moderated by Professor Rajeev Roy, Entrepreneurship, XLRI Delhi.
The next panel will be on the topic “Innovation and Technology: AI and the future of Consulting,” discussed by Mr. Kamlesh Meshram, Managing Director, Managed Services, Acceleration Centers in India, PwC, Mr. Rishi Aurora, Senior Partner & FSS Sector Leader IBM, India South Asia, Mr. Aditya Priyadarshan, Managing Director, Strategy & Consulting, Accenture, Mr. Avinash Chandra, Sr. Director, Capgemini and moderated by Professor Apalak Khatua, Strategic Management, XLRI Jamshedpur.
Next, we have our speaker address on “Role of tech and AI to accelerate sustainable transformation” which will be discussed by Mr. Vivek Adhia, EAD – Climate & Sustainability, Boston Consulting Group.
Panel 3, with the topic “Future of Consulting- Bridging strategy and implementation” will be discussed by Ms. Neelakshi Kotnis, Founder, Thoucentric, Mr. Sudipto Ray, Managing Director, Cloud and Digital, Acceleration Centers in India, PwC, Dr. K.Ganesh, Senior Knowledge Expert and Associate Partner, Mckinsey & Company, Mr. Devroop Dhar, Co-founder, and Board Member, Primus Partners, Mr. Vasant Mugada, Sr. Director, GEP and moderated by Professor Munish Thakur, Strategic Management, XLRI Jamshedpur.
The last address of the event will be presented by Mr. Alan Weiss, Summit Consulting Group Inc., Author, Million Dollar Consulting on the topic “Why Value is what you create and not what you do”.
The grand event will be concluded with a Vote of Thanks by the Kautilya Consulting of PGDM (GM), XLRI summarizing the whole session & bringing it to a delightful close।
