To qualify for the XAT, candidates must have earned a three-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline from a recognized university or institution. Moreover, students who anticipate completing their final examinations by June 10, 2024, can apply.

Registration Fees
XAT Registration Fee is Rs. 2100. However, if you are applying for XLRI programmes, it will be Rs 200 per programme. The list of XLRI’s programmes is as follows:
 Business Management Programme (BM)
 Human Resource Management Programme (HRM)
 Post Graduate Diploma in Management (18 Months/Formerly known as GMP)
 Fellow Programme in Management (FPM)
 XLRI-RBS Double-master’s Programme
 Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Venture Creation Programme (IEV)

Registration Process “How to Apply”
1. Register yourself.
2. Verify email ID.
3. Fill XAT Application form online
4. Upload required documents.
5. Pay application fees.
6. Submit your application form.

Expected XAT Pattern 2024
Typically, the XAT question paper consists of two-time bound parts. The details are as follows:
Part I
a) Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning (VA & LR)
b) Decision Making (DM)
c) Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation (QA & DI)
Part II
a) General Knowledge (GK)
b) Analytical Essay Writing (AEW)

The number of questions in the XAT typically fluctuates within a range of 100-105, offering a comprehensive assessment of your aptitude. Each section will typically contain between 22 to 30 questions. The total number of questions will not exceed 100, including those focused on General Knowledge.
Please NOTE the General Knowledge and Essay sections will not influence the cutoff score. Their evaluation will come into play only during the interview stage. So, while they are essential for the overall process, they will not affect your initial test results.
