Jamshedpur. Jharkhand governor Shri C P Radhakrishnan awarded the then Jamshedpur CCR DYSP Mr. Arvind Kumar with president medal and honorable Home minister Asadharan Aasuchna Medal on the occasion of Republic Day ceremonised state level function at Morabadi Ranchi

Mr Kumar was appointed in the year of 1989 as sub inspector of police. After completion of training, he was posted in naxal affected district Aurangabad (unified Bihar) and Palamu, Simdega, Gumla ,Dhanbad ,Seraikela , Chaibasa and Jamshedpur in Jharkhand. He worked like a raycon in police department and had many encounters with Maos. He had a good control over urban crime and criminals . For his milestone work he was awarded with Chief minister gallantry medal , Jharkhand medal for material services and Governor Medal for distinguished services earlier. He had collected ample intelligence input in the field of naxal during his posting in Chaibasa district . Many naxal operations have been conducted successfully on his input by the end of Jharkhand Police headquarter.
