Jamshedpur. Jharkhand Sikh Vikas Manch will perform last rites of unclaimed dead bodies. In this regard, a delegation led by Manch President Gurdeep Singh Pappu has submitted a memorandum to the District Deputy Commissioner and SSP. In the demand letter, Gurdeep Singh Pappu said that Jharkhand Sikh Development Manch is a social organization which has been providing grants in the form of financial assistance for the marriage of daughters of economically weaker families and education of children. Many times the unclaimed dead bodies have been cremated on the request of the police station level. If this responsibility is entrusted to our organization by the district administration, then the institution is ready to take up the social and moral responsibility with pleasure. Gurdeep Singh Pappu told that his organization has been fulfilling social responsibility for the last 20 years. In this sequence, the education of poor, downtrodden and backward class children, their school dress, school fees are paid from their level. Along with this, till now, dozens of girls from poor families have been married on behalf of the platform. Gurdeep Singh Pappu informed that there is a plan to organize free medical camps in the needy areas in the coming times.
