XLRI joined hands with Coal India Ltd. for Human Resource Management Customized Training Program

Jamshedpur। Xavier School of Management (XLRI) signed a memorandum of understanding with Coal India Ltd. (CIL) on 25th February, 2022 to strengthen the academia-industry interface and relationship between the two esteemed institutions. Fr. Paul Fernandes, S.J., Director of XLRI and Sri Vinay Ranjan, Director (P&IR) of Coal India Ltd. signed this MoU. Ii

As a part of the MoU, XLRI will offer Customized Training Program on Human Resource Management to the CIL officers in order to help them hone their leadership & management skills. Around 500 executives nominated by the Coal India’s HRD Department will be a part of this programme which will be hosted at the XLRI Jamshedpur campus in different phases. The first cohort of this corporate training programme will begin in April 2022.

I am happy to have joined hands with CIL and we will together work on building a strong academia-industry interface”, says Fr. Paul Fernandes, S.J., Director of XLRI.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Prof. Ashish K Pani, Dean – Academics, XLRI said, “Getting employees exposed to relevant and consistent training will help companies improve their performance and increase results in the workspace. This program will help in skill enhancement & drive better results.”
